One For the boys
We were thrilled to be selected by One For The Boys, the male cancer awareness charity, to design and deliver the technical production for their inaugural star-studded Fashion Ball at the Natural History Museum's Hintze Hall.
As a preferred supplier to the venue, our remit involved providing the lighting, sound and video alongside the staging and catwalk for the charity's celebrity models and live music performances. With the charity's Chair, Samuel L. Jackson leading the event and support from A-list names from film, TV and music, the production had to be visually stunning and the delivery flawless.
Samuel L. Jackson took to the catwalk alongside campaign ambassadors and supporters including Jeremy Piven, Margot Robbie, Simon Pegg and Colin Firth. With incredible live performances from Paloma Faith and Jahmene Douglas, we placed great emphasis upon ensuring the sound worked within what can be an acoustically tricky space. Former X-Factor runner-up Jahmene Douglas tweeted after his performance: "Thanks for making the sound work in such a difficult room."
OUR CLIENT SAID:
"The Hawthorn team were unflappable and rose to the technical challenge of setting everything up, making it all work and look amazing in a limited time frame."
